Every car here passed through our North Hollywood shop. The showcase photographs are finished work — cars handed back to their owners after mechanical repair, systems recommissioning or long-term preservation. The workshop photographs show the same cars mid-job: engines out, hydraulics stripped, trim protected, parts laid out and labelled.
Typical work in these frames includes Rolls-Royce and Bentley hydraulic and brake system overhauls, carburettor and fuel-system rebuilds on pre-1990 cars, cooling and electrical fault tracing, suspension refresh, and full pre-purchase inspections for collectors buying sight-unseen.
How long does this kind of work take?
A diagnostic visit is usually same-day. Routine service on a modern Bentley or Range Rover is one to two days. Vintage work is quoted per car: a hydraulic system or engine job on a Silver Shadow or Silver Spur commonly runs two to four weeks, mostly because rare parts are sourced from a specialist network abroad rather than pulled off a shelf.
You get a written assessment and a price before work starts, photographs during the job on request, and one point of contact throughout — the owner. Nothing is subcontracted out without telling you first.
